Hinter den Kulissen
Während meiner Recherchen für den Artikel Unruhe wegen DIN-Entscheidung für Microsoft-Format auf Handelsblatt.com ist mehrmals der Vorwurf aus Insider-Kreisen erhoben worde, der Obmann des zuständigen Normenausschusses Informationstechnik und Anwendungen (NIA), Gerd Schürmann, sei nicht neutral.
Weil dafür allerdings keine konkreten Indizien geliefert wurden, habe ich diesen Vorwurf nicht im Artikel zitiert. Inzwischen wurden mir allerdings E-Mails zugespielt, die diese Behauptung erhärten. Sie stammen aus vertrauenswürdiger Quelle, auch wenn ich natürlich nicht garantieren kann, das sie echt sind.
Einmal von Mario Wendt, Interoperability Architekt bei Microsoft - und das andere mal von Gerd Schürmann, besagter Obmann des zuständigen Ausschusses NIA-37. Man beachte die wortgleiche Formulierung inklusive übernommener Tippfehler, ohne den Hinweis, dass es sich um einen Text aus dem Hause Microsoft handelt:
